Trails are OPEN
 Dear Lisa,
As of Monday morning December 22nd 2008 the entire PRR trail system will be open. Please be careful the snowstorm we are currently getting is a powdery snow, and early season conditions still exist. We need to get things packed down to create a base. The PRR groomers will be out during the day Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday packing trails and filling water bars before taking a day off Thursday to be with family for Christmas.
Trail conditions are early season powder with an icy base, rocks, stumps, and other objects may be just beneath the surface. As soon as the trail system is groomed we will have a better individual trail conditions report. All trailside businesses in Pittsburg will be accessible begining Monday, be prepared to break trail on Monday if you are out early as the groomers will not be out till Monday morning also. Trail maps are not yet out on the trail system we will be working on this before Christmas, so have you new PRR map with you they are available at most lodges and stores in Pittsburg.
Please remember the club can use any turkeys you can spare for the turkey feed and warming hut soup. The Turkey feed is Saturday January 3rd 2008 come on up and help support a great cause.
