Pittsburg Ridge Runners Snowmobile Trail Report and Club News – Tuesday, December 27th, 2016

by | Dec 27, 2016 | Club News, Trail Reports, Warming Hut, What We're Talking About

A Snow Storm is a Brewing…. just in time!!
Our groomers were on the trails last night and found the trails to be in good shape despite the rain and warm temperatures.
Our temperatures have started dropping, and it is now 32 degrees and snowing lightly.

This Thursday we are forecasted to get 10 to 12+ inches of snow.
All of our groomers will be out there again tonight.
Please be aware of possible water bars and icy conditions after the rain and warm temps.

Don’t forget about Melvin!! He is out there somewhere. Thanks to everyone that have posted your selfies with Melvin on our Facebook page. Keep them coming.

Our entire trail system is now open. The only trail that is closed is Trail 140 from Jct. 22 by the Carr Ridge Bridge to Jct 1510 at Cedar Stream. This trail is closed for the season.

High traffic areas located where there are services, such as gas, food and lodging are in Fair condition. Thursday’s snow should improve these areas.

2017 Trail Maps…..
Our trail maps should be available sometime next week. There are some of the 2016 maps available at Young’s Store.
