Snowmobile Trail Report from Kevin Lassonde, Grooming Coordinator, PRRSC

“So here is what has happened and what is going to……

As everyone knows we have had warm weather, rain and fog.
Saw 66° today in Colebrook at noon.

The last night we groomed anything was Sunday.
With that being said, tomorrow morning I will be going out on the club snowmobile to assess the situation. After that I will determine what’s good, what’s bad and where and how we will resume our Grooming operations for tomorrow night.

The weather is looking more favorable for the rest of the weekend with some snow, yes I said snow in the forecast for Sunday.

I will update my trail report at some point tomorrow early afternoon.

I know for fact that this really hasn’t hurt us as badly as you might imagine. As for now watch for standing water , open water bars and definitely some ice.

The miracle workers will be out by mid afternoon to perform their magic and give everyone the best riding possible.”
