Here is the latest Trail Report from Kevin Lassonde, PRRSC Grooming Coordinator

We have received a few more inches of snow last night and some warmer temperatures and a little rain today, don’t let that scare you we needed a little moisture to tighten up this fluffy snow we already had!!

On Thursday morning the Pittsburg Ridge Runners system will officially be open for the season.
Over 85% will have been traveled by groomer filling water bars, moving downed trees and starting to lay and shape a base to start the riding.

Use caution early season conditions do exist. I will not put a rating on the overall conditions anywhere as there isn’t any type of frozen base.

Come up to enjoy what we have to offer. Ride with care , stay alert and watch for the groomers.
We will be operating day and evening shifts until after Christmas day.

There is potentially some even warmer weather and rain approaching Saturday with the possibility of it starting as snow and ending as snow on Sunday, as most of you know we will usually pick up some measurable amounts after a rain to snow change over.

From all of us at the PRRSC Merry Christmas.
My next update will be on Sunday.

Kevin Lassonde, PRRSC grooming coordinator.
