Where to Park

Coming for the day? Looking for a place to park and ride? Here’s a couple suggestions…

DEER MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND
Rte 3, the northernmost parking! There is a couple plowed turn-outs near the Deer Mountain Campground, north of East Inlet Rd on Route 3. Great spot to park for early or late season riding. Immediate trail access.

MAGALLOWAY ROAD
Located 5 miles north of Young’s Store along Rte 3, you’ll find 2 plowed turnouts on either side of Route 3 at Magalloway Rd. Immediate trail access.

CUNNINGHAM’S PARKING AREA BEFORE MAGALLOWAY ROAD
Located 4+ miles north of Young’s Store along Rte 3, you will find the sign Cunninghams’s and a plowed parking lot on the right side of Route 3 before Magalloway Road. Immediate trail access.

PARKING NEAR YOUNG’S STORE
Young’s Store has an additional parking area for snowmobile trailers just north of the store on Rte. 3. Access the trail via a short trail to Young’s Store.          

BACK LAKE ROAD / ATV PARKING LOT
Back Lake Rd, just off Rte 3 by the Arctic Cat dealer, has a nice large lot that is used by the ATV club in the summer. This lot is plowed and has ample parking. Immediate trail access.

MURPHY DAM

Just off Rte. 3, in the town of Pittsburg, you’ll find parking at Murphy Dam. Take right onto Murphy Dam Road just after Pittsburg Trading Post/Top Gas and Trailside Rental. Immediate trail access.
